Sasha Baumann

Overview

Sasha Baumann is a research associate with interests in maternal and newborn health, quality of care, and reproductive health policy. At Smith Lab, Sasha manages research activities for multiple international cohort studies focused on assessing pregnancy risk factors and reevaluating hemoglobin thresholds for the diagnosis of maternal anemia. She also contributes as a writer and reviewer for COVID-101, a public resource for evidence-based answers to pandemic-related questions.
